Cus Palermo was founded in 1947 on the initiative of a group of engineering and law students, with the aim of providing sports activities for students enrolled at the university, with an eye also on competitive sports. Cus Palermo is currently equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, consisting of a swimming pool, a football and athletics field, a sports hall and courts for tennis, basketball, volleyball, padel and five-a-side football. The university sports citadel is also open to the city and thus responds to the huge demand for sport from the southern part of the city. Cus Palermo is one of the most complete and competitive sports clubs in Italy. It currently boasts teams registered in the most prestigious championships in athletics, football, five-a-side football, rowing, basketball, handball and water polo. The club has always played a leading role in the dissemination of sport for university students, sportsmen and sportswomen, and fans in Palermo. Over the past 20 years, Cus Palermo has become a symbol, an example to imitate in the practice of sports in Palermo. The competitive activity of the Cus is known worldwide.  Athletes from Cus Palermo have won Olympic laurels, European titles, and set records. The following athletes have participated in the Olympics: Salvatore Antibo (Los Angeles 1984, Seoul 1988, Barcelona 1992; Giovanni D’Aleo, Antonio and Piero Selvaggio (Los Angeles 1984); Rachid Berradi (Athens 2004) Manuela Gentili (London 2012);  Simona La Mantia (Atene 2004, Londra 2012), Osama Zoghlami (Tokyo 2021, Paris 2024).  and Ala Zoghlami (Tokyo 2021). For some years now, Cus Palermo has been active in European projects in the Erasmus+ Programme for sport, co-financed by the European Commission. To date, the Cus has 23 Erasmus+ projects to its credit, five as applicant and eightteen as partner.

CUS Palermo participated in many long term project about the sport, lifelong learning and training courses such as training and networking activities on edu-cation and training, ICT, development of innovation, transfer of innovation, immigration, equal opportunities, culture, interculturality, disability and learning disabilities.

Cus Palermo collaborate with all Sicilian e Italian institution about the sport project, as: Regione Siciliana, Comune di Palermo, Ministero dello Sport, Ministero della Salute, Associazione nazionale Polizia di Stato, Prefettura, Questura, etc…

Cus Palermo main activities are: sport activities in national federation, European and International organisations, awareness raising activities, seminars and conferences, amateur and athletic competition, straining courses and workshops geared to deepening all sports, social inclusion and policy antidoping, ex-change of good practice among professionals in different areas.

Cus Palermo is a sports association and  has a staff of more than 250 including administrative employees, project managers, athletic instructors, maintenance workers, and various collaborators. A solid and reliable organizational structure, which over the years has grown.

The Italian Volleyball Federation (FIPAV) is the official governing body for volleyball in Italy. Founded in 1946, it oversees the promotion, organization, and regulation of indoor volleyball, beach volleyball, and sitting volleyball across all levels—youth, amateur, and professional. FIPAV is affiliated with the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI) and the International Volleyball Federation (FIVB). It is responsible for training coaches, referees, and officials, organizing national championships, and supporting the Italian national teams in international competitions. Through educational programs and grassroots initiatives, FIPAV fosters the growth of volleyball throughout the country, promoting values of teamwork, inclusion, and fair play.

The International Federation for Sports Officials (IFSO) is the global umbrella organization representing sports officials—referees, judges, umpires, and other decision-makers—across all sports and levels of competition. Founded with the mission to elevate the status and voice of sports officials, IFSO brings together national and international associations to advocate for better working conditions, education, protection, and ethical standards.

The organization focuses on key areas such as:

  • Professional development: promoting training, certification, and continuous education for officials worldwide.
  • Advocacy and protection: raising awareness around the challenges faced by sports officials, including abuse (both online and offline), lack of recognition, and limited career pathways.
  • Good governance and ethics: encouraging transparent, fair, and ethical behavior within the officiating community and the broader sports ecosystem.
  • International collaboration: serving as a platform for sharing best practices, coordinating policies, and strengthening the global network of officiating bodies.

IFSO works closely with international sports federations, Olympic committees, governmental bodies, and organizations that support fairness and integrity in sport. Through its initiatives, IFSO aims to ensure that sports officials are not only respected stakeholders but also essential contributors to the integrity and success of global sport.

NGO NEST Berlin e.V. (NEST) is a dynamic hub for research, education, and personal growth, focusing on transnational mobility. This umbrella organization plays a pivotal role in supporting adults and youth while actively engaging in research and designing EU projects. NEST collaborates with stakeholders throughout Europe, exchanging best practices in education, adult training, employability, social inclusion, and urban/rural development, aiming to positively impact Berlin’s Wedding neighbourhood. 

NEST actively participates in over 30 Erasmus+ KA2 VET, Adult, and Sport projects, as well as coordinating three major projects covering themes such as migrants, employability, inclusion, and gender equality. Their expertise extends to diverse fields, including Environment, Climate Change & Sustainability, Circular Economy, Digitalization, Social Inclusion and Integration (with a focus on underprivileged populations, migrants, people with disabilities, and ethnic minorities), Tourism, Social Entrepreneurship, Agriculture, Clothing & Textile, Cyberbullying, Virtual/Augmented Reality, Human Equality and Rights, Sport, Privacy, and Personal Data. This consolidation of knowledge fosters transnational cooperation between VET providers, NGOs, and businesses, providing a comprehensive perspective on the challenges of inclusion and integration in Europe.

The Associação de Futebol de Bragança (Bragança Football Association) is the sport organisation responsible for the management and development of Football, Futsal, Beach Soccer and Walking Football in the Northeast region of Portugal.

The Bragança Football Association it’s one of the 22 official regional member associations of the Portuguese Football Federation and work directly with 37 football and futsal clubs, more than 2300 players, more than 60 referees, 20 competitions and 12 municipalities.

This Regional Football Association it’s interested in protecting and educate our players, coaching staff, all our member clubs, referees, community and stakeholders.

Since 2019, this Regional Football Association already get involved in several European projects, one sponsored by UEFA Foundation and the others by the Erasmus+ Program of the European Commission.

The Croatian Volleyball Federation (CVF) is the highest national governing body responsible for all volleyball-related activities in Croatia. Its headquarters are located in Zagreb, at Trg Dražena Petrovića 1.

HOS is a non-profit organization whose main mission is to encourage, oversee, support, and promote the development of indoor volleyball, beach volleyball, and snow volleyball in Croatia. As a national body, HOS also operates locally through 14 county-level volleyball associations.

Within its organizational structure, HOS recognizes various areas of activity, each managed by national commissions composed of relevant experts who oversee their respective fields of specialization:

  • Coaches’ Commission
  • Refereeing Commission
  • Competition Commission
  • Registration Commission
  • School Volleyball Development Commission

Under the umbrella of HOS, the following operate in Croatia:

  • Over 190 clubs participating in national championships across all age categories
  • More than 15,000 players involved in volleyball clubs affiliated with HOS
